“great southern breakfast”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 26, 2012

Toast is a great place for a "southern breakfast" It has a great downtown location as was only 3 blocks from our hotel. Biscuits and gravy, shrimp grits, blueberry pankakes, poached eggs on top of something my wife had, bloody mary's. Life is good! We got lucky to get in on a Thursday morning with no waiting. Great place!

“"Toast" for breakfast”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 25, 2012

"Toast" was only 2 blocks ffrom our Hotel-The Mills House Hotel-a refreshing brisk walk got us there every morning for a "big country breakfast". The counrty ham (not too salty-not overcooked), with 2 eggs, and diced fried potatoes along with a hugh biscuit was only $9.00 and worth every dollar spent. The fried green tomatoes are the best I have ever eaten and are a treat with this big breakfast. Good hot coffee or any juice you would want or need. The employees were friendly and very helpful and right on top of things.

EXCELLENT service. David the Manager ensured our experience was perfect. Beth was our server and recommended the amazing french toast. We will be back there on each of our trips. Loved it!
