I enjoy going to places and staying in quaint old hotels, but this was not one of those. For starters, I reserved my king room in November, but when I arrived and went to the room it was 2 "double" beds. They were so small I don't see how 2 people could possibly sleep in one. But unfortunately I was told there were no King rooms available so I was stuck. It was also right by the elevator and the noise was ridiculous. The 2nd and worst problem was the elevators. One was out of service which left 2 that worked. The hotel was rather busy and you would frequently have to wait up to 45 minutes for an elevator because the 2 that were working would be crammed with people by the time it finally stopped for you. I ended up walking up to the 10th floor several times, which is good exercise but in heels it is just aggravating. There should have been a discount on the overpriced room just for that.
The bathroom was teeny tiny, no counter space, and the toilet had to be flushed at least twice just to get TP to flush. On a positive note, housekeeping was excellent. I would never stay here again.
