This facility staff and accommodations made you feel really rich and pampered! This facility is carved out of a peace of quiet heaven! The villas are so warm, clean and updated. It's truly home away from home!!!

We ha a ton of fun and were simply blown away! Enjoy dinner at River house or the canoe club, but definitely get some smores even if it is simply to take them back to your cabin. We stayed two nights and left with a few things we wished we could do.

We visited the resort as wedding guests. Our stay was wonderful! Accommodations, dining, location (beautiful) service, amenities perfect.
The golf course was top notch. Challenging yet fun to play. I would have loved to play it again.

We just returned from a weekend getaway. It could not have been better. The resort has all of the great things you would expect at this price point - manicured landscaping, immaculate accommodations, pools, golf, tennis, spa, views, luxurious bedding and linens, beautiful bathrooms with steam showers, delicious dining options, etc.

However what makes it truly special are all the little things: the CD you receive when you pull through the guard gate to narrate your drive among the live oaks draped with spanish moss; cookies and lemonade as you check in; complimentary bicycles, newspapers on the in-room iPad, wine, coffee, snacks and beverages in your cottage; turn down service that included closing all of the blinds, dimming the lights, and turning on jazz music for a romantic return to your cottage, out of this world spa treatments, amazing service from every single employees who often call you by name, and the complimentary spritzer and cold waters that you receive in an ice bucket at the pool and tennis courts.

We also loved our kayaking trip on the May River. This was definitely was special weekend and we hope to return again soon.

Room Tip: Definitely get a cottage on the river.

I visited the Inn at Palmetto Bluff with a colleague of mine and was delighted to find a property that exceeded my expectations in many ways. I thought about dropping this review to a 4 star since our evening meeting was stricken with a case of blown A/C but the staff quickly rectified the issue by seamlessly installing temporary cooling machines. It was great to see how quickly they could pull this off and respond to the problem. The food was fantastic and the golf, way above par! Thoroughly enjoyed my time there and am looking forward to returning again with my wife!

We have stayed in the villas for short getaways several times over the last few years and find the accomodations comfortable, private, and quite romantic. While Palmetto Bluff is quite pricey, the quality of the stay ranks 5 star in all aspects, from the front desk to the cleaning staff. We always feel pampered after a one night stay here. The Spa is exceptional, dining in main dining dining hall aways pleases. Having bicylcles handy is also an added plus. Once you get past the high price tag, you'll be glad you chose to stay there.

Room Tip: we have tried all of the different views offered and found that ALL suited us.

From the minute you enter the gates, you begin to feel the relaxation of the south carolina low country envelop you.The guard at the gate gives you a short cd to listen to as you take the 5 minute drive to the Inn. nice touches like this makes this a most special place that deserves the accolcades it gets. Our cottage was very spacious nice bedroom with fireplace, large screened in back porch, big dressing room , and fabulous bathroom with big separate tub and great shower with rain shower and steam amenities.Guests get around by bicycle and/or golf cart.there is a quaint chapel in the center of the village where there are weekend weddings.the chapel bells chime out the hours.the water views are wonderful..you can take many different boats out, fish, paddleboard,or take a trip to other places like hilton head or other islands.the golf is very good and the course is in excellent shape.there is a tennis center, and croquet and bocce.riding is a big sport here and ther is a large equestrian center.two fitness centers will help you work off the biscuits you eat for breakfast.they have pilates, spinning, yoga, and conditioning classes.the spa is very nice too.I had a very good massage. They even have tubs on the porches at the spa.The food is quite good at both the River House and Canoe Club.Breakfast at Buffalos is a great Southern treat. My husband and i had such a great visit with friends who are lucky enough to be building a house there. The service is just excellent in a relaxed and friendly way.My only complaint was about the ipads in your room that you were supposed to use for ordering room service and other activities...they didn't seem to work well, but one could always pick up the phone and would get excellent help that way.there are two pools also, and I believe they will be adding on more. The Inn has a good mix of relaxation and activities. If you are a bird lover this is the place for you for sure.Ibis and egrets and herons gliding over the water.....a lovely, languid sight.

Room Tip: lagoon rooms in the 30's are quiet and not too far from spa or second pool and fitness
