Staff was very helpful and sincere. The breakfast had plenty of choices, the coffee never ran out, the creamers stayed stocked and the gentleman taking care of it all was cheerful. Elevators were fast, even though the hotel was booked solid. Great lighting and comfortable chair and ottoman for relaxing with a good book. Bedding was cozy and the pillows fluffy. Plenty of washcloths and towels...soft and fresh. I would've been late to a business meeting if one of the housekeeping staff had not helped me load my truck. She did not hesitate to accept my plea for help...outstanding attitude! The location was perfect, parking convenient and I felt very safe. 3 restaurants, grocery store, Irish Pub with excellent food and even a Target...all within a 2 minute walk. Never stayed at this brand before, but this property has me sold!

Just wanted to recognize Vivianne, the manager who helped us with our reservation. It was such a pleasure to talk with someone so caring, and understanding. Holiday Inn should be very proud to have someone as professional as Vivianne. We will always stay there whenever we are traveling in that area because of her treatment . Thanks again ! This hotel has everything - spacious rooms - friendly and helpful front desk staff - free Wi-Fi, USA today, and a local paper - plus a full hot breakfast every morning (omelets sausage, waffles, bagels, toast, etc., plus dry cereal, yogurt, boiled eggs, etc.), including a cheerful kitchen staff - within walking distance of a variety of restaurants and shopping centers and a short distance from Old Town Bluffton. We have been repeat customers since 2004, and when we arrive each year, it feels like coming home.

New decor very nice. Staff very professional and helpful. The king suite was roomy and comfortable. The location of HIE needs better direction through the plaza, off of Rt 46. Enjoyed the breakfast every day. One bad day, a little girls event was held, with people hanging out in hallways, kids screaming, crying, parents loud, dressing girls in hallways. Actually sitting on the floor in front of my suite room with so much noise I needed to turn up TV. If events are to be held, HIE needs to make sure they have rooms large enough to keep people from the mess in the hallways. Uncalled for and I was very surprised to see this happening. I saw that after the event, the staff was cleaning and sweeping up the hallway. thank you. Other than bad day, my stay was good and I would recommend this hotel and I would use this hotel again. Good value.
