Just wanted to recognize Vivianne, the manager who helped us with our reservation. It was such a pleasure to talk with someone so caring, and understanding. This hotel has everything - spacious rooms - friendly and helpful front desk staff - free Wi-Fi, USA today, and a local paper - plus a full hot breakfast every morning (omelets sausage, waffles, bagels, toast, etc., plus dry cereal, yogurt, boiled eggs, etc.), including a cheerful kitchen staff - within walking distance of a variety of restaurants and shopping centers and a short distance from Old Town Bluffton. We have been repeat customers since 2004, and when we arrive each year, it feels like coming home.

New decor very nice. Staff very professional and helpful. The king suite was roomy and comfortable. The location of HIE needs better direction through the plaza, off of Rt 46. Enjoyed the breakfast every day. One bad day, a little girls event was held, with people hanging out in hallways, kids screaming, crying, parents loud, dressing girls in hallways. Actually sitting on the floor in front of my suite room with so much noise I needed to turn up TV. If events are to be held, HIE needs to make sure they have rooms large enough to keep people from the mess in the hallways. Uncalled for and I was very surprised to see this happening. I saw that after the event, the staff was cleaning and sweeping up the hallway. thank you. Other than bad day, my stay was good and I would recommend this hotel and I would use this hotel again. Good value.

Our son graduated from Parris Island last week. We stayed here based on TripAdvisor and we weren't sorry. Rooms are so spacious you don't feel cramped. It is very clean. Front desk staff was great. We had folks coming in at various times and the staff was very helpful to make sure everyone was given keys to the rooms and made welcome if we weren't there. Breakfast was good although we are vegetarians and the eggs had meat, the gravy had meat, so our hot choices were very limited. It would also be helpful if stuff was ready at 6 a.m. since the Family Day at Parris Island has two events which start at 7 a.m.
