We really enjoyed our getaway to Beaufort and our stay at the Rhett House Inn. The inn is conveniently located just a block off the water. It is a nicely restored antebellem home with heart of pine floors, beautiful fireplaces and great wrap around balconies. The common rooms are comforable and welcoming. We were able to walk to restaurants and shops and enjoyed walking through the historic neighborhood. The room was charming with a sitting area in the bay window. The staff was very friendly and willing to answer questions and advise on restaurants, etc. We enjoyed the evening social hour with wine and cheese and crackers. It was most pleasant to sit on the balcony with a glass of wine at the end of the day. The inn also offered desserts in the evening. My husband is a great fan of their chess pie. We will likely return for another vist to the Rhett House Inn.
