Could not find an online menu (no website, and the menu is not posted on their Facebook site), but read the reviews and decided to try Great Gardens Cafe. The menu is mostly meat-heavy heavy German food, with some additional, heavy Swiss and Italian dishes (i.e. spaghetti and meatballs on buttered noodles, lots of fried meats). Had a hard time choosing, only to order what I think may have been the "wurst" thing on the menu, the "wurst" salad - from the menu's description I thought I would get a "ploughman's lunch" type dish. What I received was about as unappetizing as I've seen in a while - a thinly sliced pile of what looked and tasted a lot like bologna with micro dices of Gruyere and 2 sliced CANNED black olives that tasted like the little rubber rings they resembled - most if this went back unfinished, and there was no offer to replace with something else. My husband's sandwich was pale and bland, despite having been dipped in egg and fried (! - a German "double-down"??). The fresh bread that we were served (after our meal...) came with a dipping sauce of...vegetable oil! So, if you love heavy food, this will be worth a try for you - however, if fresh, tasty cuisine is on your mind, keep on looking. One final thought - the back porch dining was nice with it's view of the marsh - however, the view is toward the Air Station, (which is right across the creek) and there was quite a bit of jet noise while we were having lunch - I can't imagine how loud it gets on a day when the jets are doing repeated "touch and goes".
