Tried Wren in our second visit to Beaufort this year. It was burger night so that was tempting (they looked awesome!) but we all went with steak this night.
The sirloins were all great and cooked well except for one person, who was accommodated with a new steak asap and some asparagus and new fries for the trouble. The rib eye got great reviews too. One had the surf and turf which is a filet and shrimp and no complaints there.
Not sure of the name but their double IPA on draught was full flavoured and enjoyable with a meal.
Our waitress was really nice and struck up some interesting conversation but knew when to make an exit for us to enjoy our meal.
One suggestion would be for the frites - they're service with some cheese mixed in and because the fries are thin and lose their heat quickly, the cheese becomes a bit congealed.
Would definitely go back. Love the decor and atmosphere.
