“Charming, wonderful place to stay in Beaufort”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 19, 2013

We recently spent two nights at The Beaufort Inn. Beautiful setting and gardens -- helpful, friendly staff made our visit perfect. We stayed on the upper floor of the Garden Cottage and had a great view of the garden patio. The included breakfast buffet was delicious -- can't say enough about the french toast casserole. We were lucky to be in Beaufort during restaurant week, and took advantage of this at the Inn's Southern Graces Bistro. Food was delicious and dessert was outstanding. Very interesting talking to Bubba and learning of his experiences. Look forward to visiting again.

booked this through a living social coupon because we love Beaufort. We just happened to come down during restaurant week. They put us in the Oak plantation room which was absolutely gorgeous. Nice huge room, had a wet bar, nice bath, sitting area and the bed was to die for. looking forward to our full breakfast in the morning. The Inn is situated very close to the downtown Main Street, easy walking distance to most things in Beaufort. Walked to dinner tonight at the breakwater restaurant.
we will come back again and spend some time here.
Lauren greeted us and was most helpful in getting us settled in and gladly exchanged our bottle of red wine for a bottle of white wine.
Definitely a classy place to stay.

I booked a week-end at the inn with a balcony room and a soaking tub. That was not the room we are shown and when I said something about the accomondations not being want I wanted Lauren apologized and made it up to us in a fabulous way. She gave us a cottage at no extra charge! I don't think there's was much left to offer, but still we had a place bigger than my house with a soaking tub and two private porches. So needless to say we were very happy. The location is perfect... just two block to the river and all the shops and restaurants. Plus, breakfast was delicious! So book your next stay here and enjoy!!!

Whether a resident of South Carolina or a tourist and you want to be treated to a delicious meal, while immersed in old southern charm, you must go to the Beaufort Inn. Our party of three enjoyed different appetizer and lunch selections, all prepared with care and expertise. Kudos to Chef Christopher Hewitt. We plan to return often.

Recommend reservation as dining rooms are very small.
Food is incredible. Crab eggs benedict perfection.
The chicken hash was a huge surprise, so tasty.
I asked for a spicy bloddy mary and it came back perfect.
skip the grits bar, save the room for dessert!
MUST try the strawberry champagne cake.
Ten stars.

My wife and I celebrated our 18th Anniversary with a stay at the Beaufort Inn in Beaufort, SC. We are both educators and having an anniversary in December has allow us to celebrate in numerous B&B's/Inns around the country. The two days we spent in Beaufort at the Beaufort Inn were among the top 2 or 3 places we've ever stayed. The Inn is amazingly beautiful, cozy and romantic. The management was more than helpful at the Inn and with local suggestions. The breakfast was fantastic and the morning staff willing to do what they could to make the day start off right. I didn't want to leave! We rarely revisit any B&B or Inn, really just 1 in eighteen years! I know we will be returning to the Beaufort Inn and the Low Country of South Carolina. Thank you!

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a private or semi-private porch and/or an easterly view. The sun rise was breath...

My fiance and I were in town to visit family. This was our first stay at the Beaufort Inn. We had a pleasurable experience and enjoyed our stay. Everyone on staff is very courteous and professional. The breakfast is amazing. We look forward to our next visit.
