My friend and I stayed at the newland motel for 5 nights, don't do it! Our room was so out dated we had to laugh, and dirty oh dear! we could not cook on the stove, walk on the floors without shoes (ecspecially the carpet) or sit on the sofa without a sheet down. There were stains and holes on the doors and walls. The electrical outlets were falling out of the walls and the lighting was horrible. I could go on and on, absolutely gross and certainly not worth $100.00 a night! On the plus side, the caretaker of the hotel was very nice and it was close to the beach. I guess we didn't get one of those renovated rooms either!
