“For the price of admission, overall amenities are lacking.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 3, 2013 via mobile

Overall, the inn is nice and the owners are friendly. We didn't find the corner location to be a problem, but other things are lacking. Yes it was cold outside, and yes we were there in February, but our bathroom was freezing cold which made showering an unpleasant experience at best. The breakfast was ok, but nothing exciting. We have stayed at B&B's all over the country, and the rates here certainly are not cheap. It might sound petty, but what bothered us was that there was no provision for a cup of tea, coffee or soda in the evening after coming back to the inn, or any little snacks put out in the afternoon or evening. All things considered, we also felt that since there is a winery on the property, a complimentary bottle of wine in the room also didn't seem out of the question and would be a nice welcome touch.

“Langworthy is definitely worthy”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 25, 2012 via mobile

We had such a great time at Langworthy. Our hosts were extremely nice and accommodating. Our room was clean and homey. As per other reviews, the room at the front corner of the house is located at a noisy intersection. I was not bothered by this, but I can see how some could be. The intersection wasn't noisy at strange hours, only in the afternoon and early evening. Breakfast was delicious, and the 7am coffee service outside our door was something we looked forward to every morning. The photos are their website don't do the beauty of this inn any justice, the rooms are larger than they appear. I will definitley stay here again and glad I didn't let the negative reviews of this B and B deture me from staying :)

“Charming”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 1, 2012

Stopped here on a recent vacation by the shore. The wine tasting was excellent. What I liked most is that they allow you to choose which ones you are tasting rather than getting whatever happens to be the selection today. They also wait on you at at porch in back. Ended up purchasing several bottles.

“Don't be swayed...”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 17, 2012

By the other reviews. Hosts were very congenial, helpful. Breakfasts were very, very good and, unlike some B & B's, had a choice of egg dish or 'sweet' dish. Extremely clean & elegant building.
For our 'wandering' purposes the location was ideal- close to beach, Rt1. On the negative side,
since the loss of the magnificent maples, their location @ a busy intersection can be noisy.
And our room choice was okay for a 2-day stay but not longer (see Tip). Note both 'cons' are not in direct control of the hosts. Overall, 8 out of 10
P.S. Don't forget the winery-- If you like Merlot you have to try their Misquamicut Merlot

Room Tip: P.S. If size is an issue avoid the Norway Maple room. Others are larger, more amen ties

“Awful”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed January 4, 2012

the Owner/Manager gives the word hospitality new meaning. From his lack of assistance in helping me with my bags up two flights of stairs to his unpleasant rude manner, it was an unbelievable experience.
Our room, at the top of the house, on the corner, was shabby (as is the whole place)with one small mirror in the narrow bathroom. It was noisy, being at the crossroads, and when we complained in the morning, we were told that we should have closed the windows and put on the air conditioning to avoid the noise. Just what you want from a "sea view" room. We changed rooms across the hall, which was quieter with a bigger bathroom, again lack of mirrors and only one bedside table. we had a another 'problem' with the Owner when we checked out and for the price we paid, I would have rather gone to a motel, at least you know what you are getting. Basil Fawlty is alive and running a B & B in Rhode Island.

Room Tip: choose another hotel
