“Fabulous Place in an Unlikely Location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 16, 2013

Across the way from a sprawling suburban shopping mall sits a cluster of ex-Industrial Age factory buildings along the Patuxet River. One of these buildings has been repurposed into the NYLO and the architects and designers did a fabulous job. The thoughtful design creates a soothing and comfortable experience. Rooms are spacious, modern and minimalistic. The flat-panel television provides a crisp picture that appears hi-def. The downstairs restaurant and riverfront terrace are similarly beautiful. Food and drinks appear to be reasonably priced and both appear to attract considerable traffic from nearby residents and workers.

The hotel operates a shuttle to the T.F. Green Airport, which is about 10 minutes distant. This beautiful facility has to be the best Airport Hotel I will ever see.

The hotel's management should pay strict attention to the design principles and concepts that went into the place. The Motel-6-style cellophane-covered plastic water glasses in the bathroom obviously were not consistent with the rest of the design details and the overall concept of the place. Why wreck the place to save a few pennies?

Room Tip: With river side rooms you may have to hear music pumped onto the downstairs deck. The room orientat...

It was a memorable and a joyful weekend. We decided to stay here for its convenience to the wedding we were attending. In a rather residential area, this hotel is a refurbished factory building that is set perfectly on the water. The lobby is small but pleasantly set with books to choose from and an Apple desktop. The staff that greeted us was friendly and helpful. Our room had ample room for us and overlooked the river. It was clean super comfortable bed, complementary waters, coffee maker and lots of pillows. We decided to visit the restaurant prior to the ceremony and enjoyed a cocktail on the deck with plethora of plush comfortable outdoor furniture. Upon our return late evening the lobby mood was set with candle lights and the lobby bar was lively. Breakfast Sunday morning had an abundance of options and was priced accordingly. The Hotel Manager was visible, friendly and inquisitive about our stay. A memorable stay in many ways, thank you for a wonderful weekend.

The NYLO hotel is modeled on the warehouse/ loft concept and does it very well. It is minimal and modern with cement floors and walls, exposed ceilings.
Rooms are loft chic with modern furnishings. Exceptionally comfortable beds with plush linens. Bathrooms are small but sleek with vessel sinks and a curved glass shower wall. Large deck with nice seating areas overlooking the river and a waterfall.
The location is near, but not right at, the airport. It is about 15-20 minutes from downtown Providence. Odd location, next to a boarded-up historic warehouse and run-down houses, but across from a shopping center. Parking is across the street.

We stayed here in April. The hotel decor is contemporary and cool. The staff were very accomodating! The lobby has wifi and a small Library. The food was FABULOUS! We just loved the atmosphere there. The free shuttle will pretty much bring you anywhere. We had a blast. Google this hotel to check out the online photos- we are hoping to return when the patio area is open so we can sit outsdie , have a few cocktails, dance and relax.

Room Tip: When booking ask for a room that over looks the river.

My husband and I came to RI for my Fathers funeral. We picked the NYLO because I travel every week and stay at the standard big chain hotels. My husband thought I could use something different for this trip. The decor is beautiful. The hotel is very clean and very different from the hotels I am used to staying at. If I had to describe NYLO Warwick in one word I would say refreshing. All the staff we interacted with were very nice, from the front desk to the bar. The folks at the front desk allowed me to use a conference room so I could lay out photos and work on a project for my fathers funeral. I can't express how appreciative I was to have the space to work. We are going to RI again in the fall and there is no question, we will stay at NYLO!

We had a fabulous experience at Nylo. The staff was wonderful, engaging and personable. Our room overlooked the restaurant deck and the water, the nightlife was relaxing and enjoyable. Our room was clean and the Decor was out of the ordinary. We were here for a family reunion on this visit, we will certainly return on another occasion.

Visiting Rhode Island we wanted to be centrally located, the hotel was close to Providence and to all the beaches. The hotel located on the river and is very unique. The restaurant has a great size deck with ample relaxing seats. Our room was clean and comfortable, the staff was helpfully and accommodating, we had a mishap while there and Manager immediately rectified and kept our stay comfortable. The restaurant menu is a bit outdated, however we were informed it was to change soon. We would defiantly stay here again.
