Based on our first visit to Lilliana's, we really looked forward to our meal. Sure, the dish was ordered the first time, a lamb shank special, was outrageously expensive. But, it was delicious and we had enough left over for two more meals. So, the price was not an issue. Sadly, our second visit became our last. In a nearly empty dining room with several wait staff on hand, we waited forever -- first to have our order taken, and then nearly an hour to receive our entrees. I had a fish dish and my husband a pasta special. Neither should have taken nearly so long. Other diners were seated, served and received their checks in less time than it took to receive our meals. No explanation was given, just constant refilling of water glasses and the offer of more bread (we didn't want to fill up on bread and so refused). When our meals finally came, they were mediocre at best. When I asked the server what took so long, he sheepishly replied that "the pasta was overcooked the first time and had to be redone." I'm sorry, but how long does it take to cook pasta -- 10 - 12 minutes at the most. I would have posted this review earlier, but this is the first time I have seen this restaurant available for review on TripAdvisor. My advice - stay away. A shame, too, because we only live ten minutes away. We might otherwise have been regulars.
