First- no credit cards, cash only, but it was posted at the outer door. We stopped here for breakfast on our way to the Veteran's Cemetery in Exeter on a sad Sunday morning. The seating was chaotic, and there are no signs to really determine what kind of seating it is. Once seated, the waitress was wonderful. Very efficient but also very welcoming and chatty, making us feel at home and she kept the coffee coming, a big plus for me. I am not a "big" eater so I really appreciate that I could order either 2 or 3 egg omelets. Most places have only one size, 3 egg omelets which are too much for me. Many people come here for the Johnny cakes, a Rhode Island favorite according to friends and relatives who recommended we stop here. I think you have to acquire a taste for Johnny cakes. They are basically pancakes made of cornmeal. We wanted to try them. You can order them with most breakfasts. My omelet was perfection, I cannot remember when I had a better one, especially on a busy Sunday morning! All in all a great breakfast for the four of us.
