“Noisy, noisy, noisy”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 5, 2013

Was hoping for a nice quiet dinner after hearing so much about Plum Point Bistro. Maybe it was the night, Wednesday, but it was so noisy we couldn't talk across the table and, ultimately, cancelled our entree order. Paid for starters and wine and left.. It was like being in a grade school cafeteria. Suggest reserving an outside table.

“Great Find Just Over Jamestown Bridge”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 4, 2013

A local person recommended this place, and we decided to give it a try. It was great! The food is farm to table, and everything is fresh and uniquely prepared. It has an open kitchen, so you see the magic happening. The salads were big and interesting. Mussel appetizer was great. The Lobster stew had an exceptional tomato-based broth. Homemade pastas were delicious. The sea bass special was outstanding.

The price is OK ($25 - $30 per entree). We ate inside, and it was way to noisy. I thought I had been to a rock concert. Tin ceiling and packed tables made the noise level crazy. It was even hard to hear our waitress. They have outdoor seating, and that is the way to go. The location is not inspiring, next to a gas station on Route 1A, just opposite the Rt 138 entrance to go to Jamestown, but you want to be outside anyway. Other than the noise level indoors, this is a great find.

It required reservations on a weeknight (July 3). Easy to find. We will definitely go back.

“Pretty good”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 2, 2013

Had some apps. My girl loved the tuna tartare. I thought it was a bit bland for my taste. Fried oysters were very good, plump and crisp. Side fries while good , were way to small for five bucks. Overall very good though. We will come back.

“Bring earplugs to dinner”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 8, 2013 via mobile

Food is very good! Too bad I walked out of dinner with my ears ringing. The waiter was awfully, arrogant and non responsive to the guest. Too bad the food was really good. I'll give them one more chance, but I will sit outside. Seems a bit less loud

“Good food served well in very noisy room!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 8, 2013

Good food served well in very noisy room! This would be a favorite place if one could hear what people at your table were saying. With a few acoustic hangings or panels this would be a pleasant evening dining spot. Food good, service attentive, decor nice, but that noise is just too much.
