Shells by the Sea is not your typical B & B. Located in a quiet residential area, this modern beautiful house was a pleasant surprise. We, (the bagelman group) travel every summer to Narraganset with some friends and have stayed in several B & B's, but this was the best by far. Shells made our stay most enjoyable from the warm welcome at arrival to the relaxing athmosphere she provided during our stay including the use of the heated pool in a well maintained back yard. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and served gourmet.This was an amazing place and we would definitely stay here again.

Shells by the Sea is in a quiet residential neighborhood, just one street away from the main drag. It's a more modern house than I was expecting, but Shell and her husband were very welcoming. It felt like they were old friends I was staying with, rather than a B&B. If you are looking for a peaceful, relaxing place to chill out, this is a good choice.

My husband and I travel to Narragansett every summer and stay at a B & B. Shells by the sea was by far the most beautiful place to just relax and enjoy the comfort and hospitality provided by Shell and Ned. Their pool (which was the highlight of my husband's stay) was amazing. We had the best time and felt we were treated more like family than guests. Awesome place that I would highly recommend and do plan on visiting again!

Our family of three, including my husband and our 3-year-old daughter, stayed at Shells by the Sea for nearly a week and couldn't have been happier or more comfortable. The place had been recommended to us by my cousin who was getting married; not sure how she found it, because in planning our trip PriceLine didn't even include SBTS as an option. Still, this B&B was not only the most affordable option for us, but also the most convenient, situated close to the beach, restaurants, and major roadways. For all the luxuries of modern society, SBTS boasts a relaxing and private atmosphere. It's backyard, complete with a heated pool (!!!) is surrounded by beautiful flora. The interior of SBTS is spacious and serene. We had our own private bathroom, and we would do that option again. The only recommendation I would have for the B&B is offer locks/keys to the room. We came back every day to find our room door wide open after having shut it tight when we left - since we were out and about for large chunks of the day, it was a little tiring to check inventory every night before we went to bed. Other than that, no complaints, especially where breakfast is concerned. The food was delicious - we found our family enjoys Eggs Benedict :) The owners are wonderful people with caring hearts and conversation with them will be missed. Our 3-year-old still asks for "cha-chi" --- we will be staying there again when we return to the East Coast.
