We went for dinner at Georges while visiting from the UK. After a 40 minute (we were expecting this as it was busy) wait we were seated in area upstairs at a table next to the speaker for the live music that was going on, fine if you like that sort of thing, but we were not able to have a conversation without shouting at each other, after a day's sightseeing we just wanted to relax. I didn't quite get why when there were tables in other areas of the restaurant that were free we were told we could have as there were only 2 of us so instead we had to wait for an upstairs table. Apparently if there had been 4 of us it would have been okay? All a bit strange! We asked to be moved from the loud table which wasn't a problem and after another 20 minute wait we were finally seated. The food was amazing; we shared the seafood skins starter, which incidentally were amazing. For entree we had the lobster with mussels and corn and the baked stufffed shrimp and flounder with lobster sauce. Very very tasty, good sized portions. This has to have been one of the tastiest meals I've had at a restaurant. The staff were all very polite, helpful and attentive. Price wise, I though it was reasonable considering we had lobster. I would highly recommend this place to anyone in the area, let me know if you work out the deal with the seating arrangements! Despite that I can't wait to go back on our next visit.
