My family and I stayed at the Inn and we had a wonderful time. From the minute we walked in the door, we felt so welcomed. There were a couple of woman working the desk and they answered every question we had to directions and suggestions for what to do and where to go. We had 2 rooms with whirlpools and the rooms were so clean. They had beautiful comforters on the beds (the beds were awesome) to the not your typical shower curtains in the bathrooms. Loved the massage chairs in front of the TV, all of us sat down and enjoyed them. The continental breakfast was more than we expected and the pool is like a huge jacuzzi, its so warm. Its nice to stay at a place where the employees who work there are always smiling, even the girl who cleaned our room was so pleasant, kept asking us if there was anything we needed. Loved the free champagne both nights we were there, its a nice touch. If you want a relaxing stay, go to the Newport Inn, their prices are great and they told us when we come back to let them know we are a repeat guest to receive a discount, you can bet we will go back.

I had high expectations for this hotel (valentine's day celebration), and for the most part it was great. Room was clean and ready to go, whirlpool and bed were nice. I had a late check in... the staff seemed pretty non chalant but they accomodated my needs when asked. I needed new sheets at about 6am but they had none ...don't ask... had a bit of a run in with waaay too much bubble bath and then too much hard liquor. Shiatsu massage chairs in the lobby were cool... Free breakfast was pretty good (i'm from providence, i have high standards for breakfast after eating at 'Nick's on Broadway' and 'Juilian's') particularly the 'make your own' wafflemaker. On the way out I noticed a comment the desk person made about my stay being booked on expedia... which gave me the feeling that they were a little extra nice because of this due to the chance I'd write a review. Well it paid off for them, I would stay again...

my wife and I recently stayed at the Newport Inn and spa. The staff is wonderful as is the inn. A rather large inn were every space is inviting. the whirlpools in the rooms are very relaxing as are the massage chairs located throughout. We go here to relax on a regular basis and have decided that we would rather stay here over newport, which is about a 5 minute car ride. if you are looking to relax in a clean, comfortable atmosphere I highly recomend the Newport inn and spa.

I am a repeat guest of the Newport Inn and Spa; I have tried other area hotels and they are not as relaxing and quiet as the Newport Inn and Spa - The pool area is well kept and usually not very crowded, the continental breakfast is more than the average muffins, stale bagels etc...this time we were upgraded to a whirpool room which was the best whirpool/jetted tub I've experienced at any establishment - so much so, that My Husband and I are going to have the exact style installed in our home - it was the perfect size and had just the right amounts of jets. The massage chair too was incredible! all of this and the convenience of being so close to the beaches, mansions and all that Newport and Middletown have to offer - you can not beat it !!

We will return again and again ........
