My mother, is, unfortunately, dying, but my friend of many years helped me to take a break from sadness by joining me at Gregg's in East Providence.
Immediately, I asked for the hot rolls and pickles and was munching on them soon after.
I had my very favorite, tuna fish sandwich and sweet potato fries.
There is nothing better, except I took a slice of white cake with that great frosting to take for my long trek back to Long Island.
I will have to go back to Rhode Island again to be with my mother as she is dying. But knowing that Gregg's Restaurants will be there whenever I need something good to eat is very reassuring.
