“Great food, great prices!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 4, 2013 via mobile

If you're looking for quick, inexpensive really good Italian take out this is the place. All the ingredients are fresh, and the bread used for sandwiches is delicious. Their pizza is some of the best! Highly recommend!

“Just voted the best pizza in RI..”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 23, 2013

GoProv just voted Catanzaro's the best Pizza in RI.. I have been telling family and friends about the North Providence one for a couple of years and over the last 3 years plus the Cranston one has opened and doing great pizza also.. (The restaurant part of the Cranston site is bigger and more conducive for sit down meals and more homey).. The N. Prov one is more of a take out pizza joint.. The calzones at the north providence site are better though.. They are now separate owners and not affiliated in anyway but both have great pizza. Pizza is more expensive then most Pizza places but worth it.

“Sicilian style pizza”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 5, 2013 via mobile

The pizza here is thick and crunchy on the bottom. The toppings are fresh and tasty. The salads come in a wonderful bread bowl. The spinach pies are also very good. The atmosphere is very warm and welcoming. It is a very popular place that is small with limited parking but you can always get it "to go".

“In a hurry”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 21, 2012

Love the idea of single slices! Most of the better pizza places, and believe me this is one the best,do not sell by the slice. Great when on the run or to just try a different pie.

“Top two Pizza places in Rhode Island”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 23, 2012

Catanzaro's pizza has the best pizza in Cranston and they also have one in North Providence. Same recipes but different owners. The Cranston location has more seats and offers more a dining experience along with a bar.. The pizza is a little expensive but worth it.. The make the pizza by putting the pizza with the sauce in the oven first AND then taking it out and putting all the toppings on it.. All of their toppings are great but the roasted garlic, spinach and chicken is my favorite..The regular standbys such as pepperoni and cheese is excellent too. The calzones are more prevalent at the North Providence location and are good.. The Wine biscuits are excellent and in bags up front BUT also can be found at markets.. I am living out of state now and pick them up on all my visits up north.
