“A Great Experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 27, 2011

We had breakfast at Phil's--Apple Crisp French Toast. It was fabulous--steamy hot French Toast covered with a generous topping of baked apple slices. Prices were low. Staff was super friendly. We hated to leave town because there were so many other choices on the menu that we would have liked to try!

“Hearty food at a reasonable price.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 30, 2011

This place caters to locals and vacations. Small dining room, so you may have a bit of a wait. But the food is worth it. Great combinations and standard favorites. I can only speak from a brunch time experience.

“Good Home Cooking”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 7, 2009

I have only stopped in for breakfast when traveling through from out of state. The food is good, the service is great, and the prices are fair. It's a quiet little "Mom and Pop" place that seems to be a hot spot with the locals (and it sure beats any fast food chain option!)

“Better value elsewhere”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed September 2, 2008

We had breakfast here and found that the food was fair (breakfast isn't too hard to make palatable) and the prices were not reasonable. The Gentleman Farmer down the road is better and the Breakfast Nook in Wakefield is good, just a bit farther away.
