Good selection of beer and wine and delicious food. We loved the low key feel of Sharkey's. It's not noisy, nor is it stuffy or snobby. Perfect!

The man (owner?) who seated us was super friendly and actually had us wait a minute because he wanted to spare us from the "boisterous" table of six that was seated in the dining room. The shark bite cocktail was great and my crabcakes were really good. A nice family-owned restaurant!

Although the menu is good here the service is terrible. The hostess was clearly miserable and over worked and didn't want to give us the time of day. Our server was absent minded and too busy talking with her friends to actually serve us. Customer service is key, and this place lacks that entirely. Not to mention we heard a few things about the flaky management from a few former employees. I can clearly understand why those girls left that place.

We can understand that when it gets hot people get cranky and we were more than willing to wait our turn because we know that serving is a stressful job. However there is no excuse for being rude and short with a customer.

Great food, Love the shark attack drink. Only bummer is that they are not open for lunch when it is located RIGHT by the beach - perfect for lunch. They open at 4 and there is no more sun on the patio there so it is often breezy and shady - no views either. But we like the food and service. : )
