Best breakfast i've had on the island. Always packed, get there early--especially if you want to eat outside. Good coffee, if you sit at the bar you'll get more refills :-)

Ernie's has a great location on the harbor. We had a good experience with the staff. The decor is simple and the menu is mostly regular breakfast staples but the Egg Mcody is a standout. I ordered the hot oatmeal, and the waitress suggested adding fresh blueberries.

We walked into this restaurant for breakfast and where totally ignored. The waitress looked right at us several times and never bothered to greet us. When she finally did greet us she was less than friendly. Fortunately, the food was served quickly and it was absolutely delicious. My only tip to management is to teach their imported staff about U.S. customer service. Unfortunately for the waitress, my friends refused to give her a tip. Other than that, our experience was very good. The location was perfect -- over looking the ocean. We will definitely eat there again (hoping the same waitress isn't assigned to our table).
