“worth the $ for a tour to the top”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 1, 2012

Worth the $ for a tour to the top! The view is amazing and the history is fascinating. Thanks to the folks who recognize the importance of helping to keep these unreplacable pieces of American History.

“Scenic”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 27, 2012

We stopped to look over the ocean during our moped ride of Block Island. It was pretty scenic but watch out for the geese droppings!

“Simply Beautiful”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 22, 2012

The Southeast Lighthouse is not to be missed on a trip to Block Island. It is one of the most beautiful lighthouses I've ever seen. The history and the efforts to restore it are very interesting.

“Good views off the cliff”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 26, 2012 via mobile

There are great views off the cliff and you can learn some neat island history at the lighthouse. The lighthouse is also about 300 yards down the road from the stairs for Mohegan Bluffs. The stairs let you walk down to the shoreline at the bottom of the cliffs you stand on at the lighthouse.

“Dont miss this one”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 24, 2012

If you love lighthouses, the SE light is a must see. The archecture is amazing. More interesting, there is a huge boulder near the edge of the cliff. That's where the lighthouse stood before they moved it farther back from the edge. This is the only green lighted lighthouse on the Eastern seaboard. You can go inside for a look at historical pictures and take a tour of the lighthouse.
