My husband and I stayed 9 days at this hotel. The room was very clean, The breakfast had a variety of different foods. The staff was very accommodating. It was in a great location at intersection 83 and 30. Mall and restaurants well within 5 miles.

This hotel is very close to where I work at client and for the discounted rate I think its the best value for money. The hotel is newly constructed so everything has a feel of freshness. The rooms are clean, plasm tv, bathrooms with granite. Breakfast is adequate with lots of options in cereal, bagels, waffels. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. I like the fact that every room has a fridge and a microwave. The hotel has every little thing you would need free of cost. Free wireless and wired internet. Free business center with computers, printer and fax machines.

Overall a very good hotel with a positive feel to it.

I booked this hotel on line at one of the discount internet sites. I usually travel alone. This time I had my son with me. I asked all the other hotels that week if they could change my room from a KING to a double, so that we would have separate beds. I was told that the policy is that they could not change the reservation on an internet booking. I asked if they were sold out of the double rooms or if a double was more expensive. The answer was "NO". The answer was it was their policy, period. I asked what would happen if I did not like the room and Elizabeth said that I would have to call expedia or whoever I used. Travelers beware---better know the policies at the Wingate hotels. I might suggest an alternative like the Hampton Inn or a Holiday Inn Express. They were very accomodating and in my estimation a better value.

We unknowingly bookied a room in what quickly showed itself as a massively inferior hotel (Quality Inn on Market Street), and checked out of there within minutes due to their overall terrible conditions. We found our way to the Wingate and couldn't have been more pleased.
From the moment I walked in, Stephanie and Elizabeth did everything they could to help ensure my family's trip across the country wasn't a bust. They worked diligently to get us a room, and were polite and courteous throughout those efforts. They recommended a fantastic local restaurant for dinner, and followed through on a request even I had forgotten about (the cot was awesome, thanks).
The room was clean, bright, and fabulously furnished. High speed internet is free (which I'm typing on at the moment). The bathroom was clean, the hotel was clean, everything was clean.
If you couldn't tell, we couldn't be more thrilled. For those reading this review, please don't look at the 5/5 rating on everything as anything but this humble joe's best effort to quickly express how pleased we were with our stay.
