“What a Customer Service !!!!!!! Mindblowing !!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 23, 2009

In spite of Air and Heating issues on one of the floors, the staff handled the situation in such a courteous, calm & professional manner and made sure all the guests were satisfied to their fullest. Including mine, customer service changed the rooms of several people.... I have come back again to this great place after my exceptional first business trip about few weeks ago .... Five Stars and all credit to the wonderful management.

Hotel was booked by a number of families in our group for a school related function. When many of our group arrived ,many rooms were booked on the upper floors with no A/C in sight. Clients were told the A/C is not scheduled to be turned on until May 1ST. Besides being uncomfortably hot, at least 5 in our group found rooms with did not have the sheets changed. Found in the sheets were hair, stains, condom wrappers and what appeared to be blood stains. The management was very apologetic and really tried to make amends by opening up some downstairs rooms with self contained A/C units. Some in our group did decided to move into these rooms but many, including my family checked out the next day for another local hotel.
What this "older" hotel needs is a management overhaul, starting with getting help from an outside source on how to run a clean, efficient and pleasing facility.
An adequate number of house cleaning staff are needed to make sure each and every room that is rented is neat and clean, and the bathrooms are spotless. The whole hotel could use a face-lift to freshen up the appearance as well as the ambiance.
The free continental breakfast is ok, but could use some fresh ideas on what to present to hungry travelers.
Believe me, the management really seems to want to please their guests, but they really need some guidance on running a a hotel. It is an older hotel and it will take some work and commitment to get it to what they "want" it to be. I do wish them the best, their future guests deserve it.

Stayed a Saturday night using a coupon from Room$aver to get $69 rate. More a business/convention hotel than roadside motel, it is a nice-looking building with attractive public areas. The corridors in the rooms area were dire, but the bedroom was comfortable and clean, with the bathroom showing its age. Rooms at the back are very quiet.

Standard continental breakfast, plus waffle-maker. Breakfast room was very large and comfortable.

Would stay there again, if in the area.

We booked this on price line what a mistake. Quality is far from what we got the room was a mess and we were given a smoking room when we said online we wanted no smoking. When we asked for another room the clerk was less than nice about giving us another room. arguing with us about what we asked for. If we didn't already pay we would have gone somewhere else. $99 for this room was highway robbery. I took pictures and will forward them to you if you like. I will be posting them up online for others to view. There was no smoke detector only wires hanging out of the wall where one should be. There were stains on the blankets and sheets. Then on the next day we were locked out due to how the room was booked. and upon returning we found that the maid pulled out of the garbage our coffee cups from the night before to pass them off as new. I stay in a lot of hotels for business. Too bad this was for pleasure. I can tell you we may never stay in another Quality inn again. And maybe not in any Choice hotels .

We stayed at the Quality Inn, Williamsport for one night. We had stayed in the Holiday Inn, Williamsport in the past, but it was sold out so we booked the Quality Inn. It is a quite old and dated hotel. We were given a room with an outside entrance facing the front of the hotel but quickly moved to an inside room in the back of the hotel (I'm sure this was also much quieter!). The rooms were somewhat musty, but the a/c worked fairly well. The bathroom was not the greatest, it was fairly clean, but the tub had this mat that was stuck down and obviously couldn't be cleaned underneath so you could see the mold and muck that was under it. The shower tile was quite moldy too!
Overall the room was ok (but just ok) and I wouldn't have wanted to stay there more than the one night, and I don't think it was worth the $100 that we paid.
Breakfast was included in the rate. It consisted of yogurt, cereal, juices, coffee / tea, make your own waffle, toast, danish, bagels.
Fine for a continental breakfast....and there was always someone there cleaning up and refilling.
The hotel also had an outdoor pool that looked fairly clean, but we didn't use it.
I did forget to bring toothpaste, and when I called the front desk in the evening to see if they had a tube (the sign in the bathroom says they will provide any toiletries that you may have forgotten)
I was told that I should call back in the morning as the manager would have the key to the closet where it is kept. I was able to get a small tube from the front desk in the morning, but really didn't understand why these items were under lock and key where the front desk staff can't access it!
