“Dont bother”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed November 24, 2013

After traveling a great distance we stopped for one night in Williamsport. We were very tired but decided to go for one drink before getting some sleep. We decided on the 4th Street Grille and wished we hadn't. The waitress in the restaurant area was pleasant but the woman at the bar was extremely rude and it seemed like she could not be bothered to serve us. When we asked what beer they had she simply pointed and said "them" and then she started talking to the locals who were sat round the bar. This was the worst service we received whilst travelling around America and she still expected a tip. In the UK we only tip good service so she did not get one.

“Breakfast buffet was delicious”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 28, 2013

The buffet breakfast starts at 5:00 p.m. and since we had to be at a funeral by 9:30, it was very welcome to have something that early that was so convenient and tasty.

“Not a place I would recommend”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed October 22, 2013

We ate here because we were staying at the hotel and were seeing a concert next door at the CAC. The hostess sat us and said the waitress would be with us shortly. We sat for about 10 minutes without anyone coming over to us. I noticed the hostess stopping at another table asking if their waitress had come by yet. They said no and she took their drink order. Another 5 minutes or so, the hostess came back to us. She took our drink order and said she would have our waitress come take our order. Another 5 to 10 minutes, she finally came over and took our order. I ordered a sandwich and my husband ordered a pasta dish. Nothing complicated at all. We also ordered the quesadilla for an appetizer. We sat for another 20 minutes waiting for our appetizer. The hostess came back and got us more drinks. Notice, I said hostess, not waitress. Finally our waitress came over to check on us and said the kitchen was backed up. I told her we had an hour till the concert started and asked if we should cancel our appetizer. She said it should be fine. Finally the appetizer came. It was good with a nice amount of chicken in it. Less than 5 minutes later, the hostess brought our meals. She apologized for stacking our courses on top of each other. We said it was fine and understood the kitchen was backed up. She once again got our drink refills. There were other tables that came in before us, received their food and left before we were done eating. The waitress brought our bill over. We paid the bill only giving her a very, very small tip with a note stating the tip would be going to the hostess who took care of us more than our own waitress did. When we left we handed the hostess her tip in cash and thanked her. I understand restaurants get busy but the waitress was horrible and had no personality.

The food was ok. The toast to my sandwich was rock hard and crumbled when I took a bite. My husband's pasta was ok but nothing special. Perhaps this is a place that you should visit when there you have no other place to be.

“Great place to relax among friends”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 31, 2013

The 4th Street Bar and Grill serves good food, from the bascis to home cooked comfort food and you can enjoy many different types of beer or imbibe of other such drinks, all the while watching a great ball game (Football, Baseball etc.)
