“Great brewpub”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 28, 2010

They are conveniently located downtown, and they make 7 or 8 excellent beers. Their sandwiches and salads were top-notch. A can't miss in Williamsport.

“Really great sandwich”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 14, 2010

Seemed to be a great local hangout. Easy to find. Metered parking nearby. So glad we tried it instead of a chain. Didn't try the beer but the selections looked great.

“Great place for beer and sweet potato”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed July 6, 2010

Four of us had dinner here July 3rd, 2010. Wife had crab cakes she said were disappointing, sweet potato was good choice, cold slaw not so good. The other couple had the ribs, he said they were good. She had pulled pork she said they were good. I had the French Onion Soup (tasted like turkey stuffing, really!). The steak was a little tuff and over cooked. Every time the waitress came over to ask how everything was, I would tell her the string beans were cold. She kept telling me it was string bean salad, it’s supposed to be cold.

“Decent beer, mediocre food”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 27, 2010

Bullfrog was ok. The service was good, the beer was decent, but the food was only mediocre. If you’re just after beer, absolutely come here. If you’re looking for a meal, just don’t expect too much.

“Good Brew Pub”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 29, 2010

If you've been to the typical brew pub, you’ve been to them all and this place is no exception. If you go expecting typical brew pub fare, you’ll be happy here.

We were there as part of a large group and had a room reserved in the back of the pub. We were seated promptly and the server did a good job keeping up with close to 30 people and their orders.

If you like trying different beers, I suggest trying their beer sampler first. You get little glasses with each of their brews to try. That way you can find the one you like best and order a full pint of it. I ended up enjoying all of the beers and just drank the sampler during my dinner. The food was good and I didn’t hear anyone in our group say that they didn’t like their food. That’s unusual for a large group. The only down side was the food didn’t all come out at one time but then again, I don’t think any kitchen can put out close to 30 meals all at once.

Overall, the service was good, the food was good but nothing stood out and the atmosphere was ok. If I were to go back to the area, I might try other places but I would have no problem going back there again.
