Now there are 2 places for sushi in Williamsport! Hana’s is where the old Lodge restaurant was in the EconoLodge. But they completely redid the place and turned it into a cool sushi spot. It just opened up. They have a lot of cozy booths there with a great atmosphere.
We just had dinner there last night and I am surprised to see them on Trip Advisor already! I am sure they will rise to the top half of the Trip Advisor restaurant list pretty soon.
We had the all you can eat dinner for $20.95 each and it includes an assortment of sushi, sashimi, a bunch of special rolls, shrimp & vegetable tempura, traditional salad with ginger dressing, miso soup, etc., etc. You simply order what you want off their large menu, and when you are finished you order some more. Between my wife and I, we must have ordered at least $100 of food and paid $42.00!
As an example, we each started off with the miso soup, seaweed salad and house salad with ginger dressing. Then we each had a plate of sashimi – salmon, white tuna, mackerel and red snapper. Then we ordered off their list of special rolls – we got the rainbow roll and 007 roll. Then we ordered sushi – eel, salmon, tuna, red snapper, mackerel and white tuna. Then we ordered some other special rolls. Then some more sushi. Then we ordered the shrimp tempura and vegetable tempura. Well, you get the point! Finally we finished things up with some green tea ice cream. Tasty.
This place does not have as many different types of sushi, sashimi and special rolls as the other place in town but the quality was very good. And if you eat a lot, the value is excellent.
They also have a full bar including imported Japanese beer selections. I love their large cans of Sapporo.
We will be eating here at least once a month. Highly recommend this place.
