“Great food.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 17, 2014

We ate lunch here. Friendly service, we were seated immediately. It was lunch time, there were quite a few customers and one large party. We ordered taco salads with chicken. It took a little longer than expected but when the food arrived it was excellent. Great flavor. I would go back for dinner and try other menu choices as well. The other diners food looked delish as well.

“Mixed feelings about this restaurant”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed June 8, 2014

After reading the reviews, we were excited to try this restaurant when we were passing through the area after an appointment. Since it was a Saturday night, we made advance reservations. Our table was not ready when we arrived, but we were seated fairly quickly afterwards. We waited quite awhile for a server to get to our table, but when she did, she was friendly and we ordered drinks and half orders of the chips, salsa and guacamole. The guacamole was excellent! Meanwhile, many tables were being seated around us and we knew we should order. We placed our order of burritos, quesadilla and a chimichanga and continued to devour that delicious guacamole. We waited. We watched other tables receive visits from their server. Ours was no nowhere to be seen; then she'd breeze through and never check on us. We watched ALL of the tables around us be served while we continued to wait without a sign from our server. Our drinks ran dry...we waited. We tried to get another server's attention, but she was quite busy. Our server went to chat with a table in the back. My husband got up to try to speak with her and she was gone. Finally, our meals came. No sour cream for my husband as requested (but we were charged for it). She never returned to see if we needed anything and we were unable to grab the other server. We just ate our meals. The food was fine, but we were exhausted and probably not in the best space to really enjoy at that point. Other tables around us were already having dessert and leaving. We watched our server come out and wipe the tables around us like we were not even there. I asked for another drink and it never came. She was quite friendly when she was at our table, but really had no idea what it means to be a server and no one else on the floor seemed to be there to support her poor performance and maybe relieve us of our misery. The food was fine. We did get a to-go box because the burritos are quite large. The prices are very reasonable as well. So overall, good food, good pricing, but terrible, terrible service. Maybe someday we'll give it a second chance, but for now, there are other interesting places in the area to try next month when we are in town again. It was not an experience we want to repeat anytime soon.

“Hands down the best”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 28, 2014

Abranas serves the BEST mexican food around - using authentic flavors and products, and an array of true sauces made from the actually peppers used for mexican food. The portions are huge and the price is right. BYOB - they will serve it up for you.

“The place in town for Mexican”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 26, 2014

This was our second visit to Abrana Marie's and, once again, we had a great meal. The guacamole to start with was delicious, the portions of the mains were huge. One of our friends was smart in ordering the small burrito as the large one his wife ordered was more than she could manage. On the recommendation of the server, we all ended up with the same sauce on our entrees and we were very happy with the choice (medium green). The desert menu looked very interesting, but there was no room. We were surprised the first time we visited to find that there is no liquor license, but were pleased to find that we could bring our own, so we brought beer, they provided glasses and our bill was much smaller as a result.

“Tops in Williamsport......”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 25, 2014

This place has got to be tops in Williamsport! The food is awesome…. and cheap! It’s BYOB so we always bring along a liter and half bottle of Chi-Chi’s margaritas. Perfect! It’s like getting $60 worth of margaritas in a restaurant for only $12. You can’t beat it.

We start off with orders of the guacamole, the queso and the salsa. It doesn’t get any better than this! Together all three of these apps are wonderful. The queso is soooo cheesy and good. Each app is $5 to $6.

For the main course we shared the chicken burrito. It was excellent at $12.

For desert we had the cheese cake chimi. It was pure heaven. It is a slice of cheese cake wrapped inside a chimichanga rollup and deep fried – it is really good. Topped with a sauce of fresh cherries. It was $5. Yummy.

The entire bill was around $50 so there is a lot of value for the money here. Highly recommended.
