“Very Good Experience - Tricky Location”

Stayed 5/24/2013 - one overnight. It's not readily visible from the road - tucked behind a major chain restaurant up on a hill. You need to drive though the restaurant parking lot to get to it. A tough find especially at night even with a GPS. However, once there, we found the hotel to be great in some key areas - very clean room, spacious too - very comfortable bed - attentive friendly staff - and very quiet even though the hotel was obviously booked. Free Breakfast was well attended and for good reason - plenty of fresh fruits, baked goods, juices and coffee. And the attendants kept up with the crowd, replenishing each station promptly. Great price online. We will stay there again for sure despite the treasure hunt location.

Room Tip: Try getting a room facing away from the street - much quieter.

We stayed here on a trip up to Maine. Conveniently located along I-81. Very friendly staff and were upgraded as we needed a refrigerator. Free breakfast. Will stay here again when traveling that route.

Stayed at this hotel and was very disappointed with cleanliness. Carpets in room were only vacuumed in the walking paths as there was finger nails, small bits of trash and food along the wall baseboards. The black desk chair in the room had whitish blob Ike stains on the seat (didn't want to know what that was). The sofa/love seat looked as though someone had puked on one side of the cushions, had to flip them over to even sit on. Bathroom shower curtain had mildew growing on it, in very obvious places. Hard to believe they could miss that in cleaning. Bathroom faucet looked as though it hasn't been cleaned in a while. All in all, not a very clean place.

I stayed here for two nights on a work trip. The room was clean, but there wasn't an attention to detail. I did notice some hair on the wall in the bathroom and the shower curtain had a good amount of mold growing on it.

The bed was extremely comfortable. Slept like a rock.

The breakfast was nice, the desk staff was nice and the little selection of convenience store-type items for sale turned out to be very convenient. Everything was modern and well appointed. I'd stay again on a work trip, but probably wouldn't visit the area for any other reason.

Absolutely terrible hotel experience. The room was dirty. The shower curtain was covered in mold. I wasn't expecting fresh sheets each day, but it would have been nice if the bed was actually made. No one ever came to empty the trash. During the entire stay we never received fresh towels, even after requesting them 4 times in one day. All these problems were brought up again at check out, but we were only met with an aloof receptionist who giggled and said, "Oh, sorry." Extremely overpriced for the poor quality and service. Would never stay there again.

Room Tip: Choose a different hotel.

I like a hotel to be clean and inviting and this Marriott Hotel says it all. When I arrived I was greated with a warm smile. The room was an upgrade with a sitting area and TV. We stayed 2 nights and I would like to return again. Our Air conditioning unit decided to act up and we were moved to another room the second night. Everyone was so nice from the maintenance to the housekeeping to the breakfast staff. This hotel has it together. We travel alot so take my word for it. Stay here.

This is one of the newer style Fairfield Inns with a spacious lobby. We had a room with 2 beds. It was spacious and very clean. There was a refrigerator and microwave in the room. The exercise room and pool areas are much larger than what you would expect from a Fairfield. The hotel is conveniently located. The only disappointment was the breakfast. They were out of almost everything . The hostess was doing her best but couldn't produce food she didn't have. Also the hotel no longer puts out the waffle maker which leaves few options for people like myself who don't eat eggs especially when they were out of everything but white bread.
Overall, I would try this hotel again when in the area.
