I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Upon our arrival, there was a major dispute between the staff and another family, which should have been an indication that this hotel had issues. Upon check in, the staff was slow and not very knowlegable. Our room smelled of smoke and was very filthy. The shampoo bottle was partially used. The lamp shade had crayon markings everywhere and the rug and upholstery were dirty. When you turn on the shower, hot scalding water would shoot out of the turn handles. There were no working ice machines in the whole building. The staff said the hotel is under new management and is in the process of making renovations. I check out the next day because I feared catching something. I will make sure I read the tripadvisor next time before I book another hotel/motel stay.

Although the saying goes "you get what you pay for", we got more than we bargained for. We got leftover Fruit loops scattered throughout the room, hidden ash trays in our nonsmoking room, a sliding glass door that did not lock, stained sheets, and a sleepless night triggered by the asthma that I had not experienced an attack of in over 5 years.(Nothing like the stench of smoke on everything in the room. ) We also got a lot of exercise chasing our 2 year old around the room in fear of her touching anything. What a disgrace! Never again! PS- Bring your calamine lotion if you stay here because you will be scratching like crazy.

This place was repulsive. The rooms and hallways stunk of cigarette smoke. The stairways reeked of urine. The air conditioning was non existent. The rooms were extremely filthy. I would never stay at this place again, and I would certainly never recommend this to anyone. I would have preferred to camp in the woods.

Upon entering our room, we noticed that there was no need to use the key. The door did not lock as the frame of the door was broken. When we reported this to the front desk, we were advised that the door had been kicked in during a fight. We were then offered twenty dollars off the hotel bill if we remained in the room. We opted for a new room as the thought of my family in a room in this hotel without a lock on the door was quite distressing. This was only the beginning of our problems. We had requested a "non smoking" room, but upon entering our room, the smell of cigarettes was evident. The two ashtrays in the room reinforced the incorrect room placement. We contemplated sleeping in the chairs as the blankets on the bed were filthy. None of us were able to sleep as all we did was scratch. Without a doubt, this was the worse hotel experience we've ever had. This hotel should be condemned!
