I had an underwhelming dinner at the White Dog a few weeks ago. We were seated in the back room, which was bright as day, different from the dark atmosphere in the main room/bar. Our table for 2 was at least 8 feet long, so I had to speak very loudly. Very out of the ordinary; the table should be used for decoration, not for seating. The food was mixed; cheese plate was very good, but the bolognese was undercooked. The beer selection was disappointing - their special 'leg lifter' was a nice touch but may as well have been labelled an overpriced Sam Adams. Our server was very nice. However, when served with a $100 bill for two I decided once and for all I would not be back. There are far better options in Wayne.
