“Well Located for Travelers to Villanova University”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 19, 2013

This is a very pleasant hotel located on Philadelphia's Main Line, just a couple of miles from the Villanova University campus. The room we stayed in was quite spacious, with a separate living area and a sizeable bathroom. It seemed like the hotel room's interior was being updated in increments, so some of the furniture seemed newer than other pieces, and it did not all seem to match. However, the bed was nicely dressed and very comfortable. Staff was competent and friendly. The rate was reasonable. The Radnor also has a large and lively bar, which I would recommend visiting if you are inclined. Overall, a very nice stay.

Very clean, great bed and pillows, okay bathroom.
The breakfast was not included in our room rate, that was an additional 12.95.
Ala carte "Terrace" restaurant a bit pricey for breakfast food in a hurry. So those aspects say that is more geared for the business traveler, rather than families or couples. Minor concern and common as the larger or nicer hotels go.
Great, convenient location for our needs.

Stayed here with my wife, two adult children, all coming from France, and several other members of the extended family for a family affair. More than adequate in all respects. Appreciated the free coffee in the lobby on early morning arrivals, the professionalism and friendliness of the very international staff, the comfort of the rooms etc. Not a luxury hotel, but certainly quite satisfactory for the frequent business traveller or persons such as ourselves. The central event being a reception for some 60 people, we found everything went off perfectly. A special tip of the hat to the staff in the bar - restaurant. Quite attentive (particularly liked the lady from Jamaica). The only reserve, more in the nature of a recommendation: the procedure for breakfasts was a puzzle. On weekdays buy vouchers at the desk, on weekends pay in the bar. On weekdays self service for coffee, bread and toast, on weekends brought to the table. Would be simpler for all, including the staff, to have one system at all times. The restaurant fare was of good quality and the choice of beer enjoyable. In conclusion, we are glad to give the hotel a top rating and would have no trouble returning, though recognizing that if the purpose of the trip is to visit Philadelphia, it's a bit out of town. One half hour taxi drive at around $50 including tip.

We usually stay at the Wayne hotel while visiting relatives on the Main Line. Since they were booked we tried the Radnor Hotel and it was lovely. Our room was comfortable, quiet and clean, clean, clean. The staff was friendly and we very much enjoyed a night cap at the bar on premises. Cheers to the Radnor Hotel!

This is the best Sunday Brunch that we have eaten at. There was so much food from French toast
waffles, made to order eggs and omelets and bacon and sausages. My wife had ordered eggs benedict and she said they were the very best. There were different pastas, vegetables, and potatoes. The carving station had ham, turkey, roast beef and pork. The meats were very tender and the best ever had at a brunch. There was a cold fish salads and salad table. The desserts
table was plentiful and very good with a chocolate fountain. They also served Champagne and Mamosas at no extra cost. All this for $27.95 per person. Highly recommended

Room Tip: We did not stay at the hotel but is a high quality hotel just outside Philadelphia.

I stay here most of the time I am in the area. Every stay has been good. The rooms are clean an spacious enough. There is complimentary coffee and tea in the lobby each morning which I take full advantage of. The staff is friendly. They offer happy hour in the bar which draws a pretty big crowd. They also have a car that can drop you off or pick you up although the radius is quite limited, still its a nice feature. There are two high end restaurants almost in their parking lot and a great grocery store across the street where you can get just about anything. They do have a public computer room which never seems to be occupied so if you didn't bring your laptop it comes in handy. There is also an airport shuttle to/from PHL airport which is about half the price of a taxi. Ask the front desk and they will give you the phone number.

Room Tip: Let the front desk know if you will be an early arrival, they seem very willing to accommodate if po...

We were in Radnor, Pa for a party. The hotel is reasonably priced with an excellent restaurant.
The bathroom was week equipped but a bit small. Room was large with a comfortable bed.
The Sunday Brunch was wonderful.
