I did the build a burger, I asked if I could get an egg added to my burger, now this wasn't on the menu in fairness but other custom burger places that I have been to you can always get a good fried egg on your burger. The waitress said that she could do it but it would be an up charge and I said that's fine. When the burger came it had a cold hard-boiled egg cut in half on top of the burger. The waitress said that they had the eggs shipped in and they didn't even have eggs there, so I told her this was not good and I just took them off right in front of her. She told me she used to work at Denny's and they always put a fried egg on the burger there, so she knew this is not the way I wanted it but did not tell me and just served it with the hard boiled egg on top. Aside from that the hamburger must've been 4 ounces which is very small and this did not meet my expectation. I Think the quality at this restaurant has gone downhill and I don't think I would ever go back even though I was a long time customer at Max and Erma's.
