We were glad to see a new Mexican option open up in town. The first couple of times the food was great but lately we've been leaving disappointed. The location is in an old Hardy's fast food restaurant and is hard to get in and out of especially if someone is using the pick-up window. The parking lot is very narrow. The decor is very colorful and festival with the carvings on the chairs being very eye-catching. The food is still as good but the portions are about half what you use to get. We've tried it twice since seeing the change, both trying different items than the last time, and still left feeling like we just had a snack. We ended up finishing the free chips & salsa they give you when you are first seated and we never finished then before. I guess we could order more options but then we're paying double what we usually spend. Maybe cutting portions was their only option other than raising prices. But if you have to order more, how are you paying the same??? We've gone back to the 'other' Mexican restaurant in town which was always good but lacked the decor El Pasa has. And even that's been changed since moving into their new location.
