Having never been to the Poconos area, we had no idea what to expect of our little weekend getaway. We were absolutely pleasantly surprised when we got to this beautiful cottage hidden away from the hustle-bustle of the city. It is literally the cutest and the coziest house on the block - you can't even see the neighboring houses.
The house is so conveniently located close to most attractions in the Poconos, yet hidden in the midst of so many trees - truly relaxing for the eyes. We spent most of our weekend on the beautiful deck outside staring at the trees and had two deer sightings right in the front yard. The place was so peaceful - we woke up to birds chirping!! (We live in Hoboken, NJ - we usually wake up to angry commuters honking) It also rained for about 20 minutes one day - and it might have been the most beautiful rain experience ever. The house has big windows and we just sat on the couch and watched the rain with some hot chocolate :)
House is very cozy - pictures posted do no justice! The owners - Maggie and Jabbar were always available just a phone call away to help us with any questions.
Definitely going back very soon!
The tree around the house made it so peaceful - just what we needed. To disconnect from the daily hustle-bustle.
Our stay was so short...
