We stopped in here while stopping over for the night in Stroudsburg...we didn't know anything in the area, but it got good reviews on here and on Yelp. We were very glad we went here because we were blown away by the experience.
The staff were very nice and knowledgeable about the menu. Just be aware that this place is BYOA or bring your own alcohol; they don't have any on the menu. Kinda strange but no big deal.
Anyway, the menu is family-style, meaning there are no single-servings. I suppose a person could order off the menu and just take home a lot of food because it IS a lot of food. Half servings serve two and full servings serve four.
We ordered half orders of everything and still had enough food for two left-over meals!
We got the parmasen bread, linguine with meat sauce, and the half order of meatballs and sausage. Wow, the food was amazing! Just full of flavor, cooked perfectly and really hit the spot after a long drive!
The ambiance is very old-style Italian with nice little paintings of various Italian regions on the walls and what-not. There were other people in the restaurant but we never felt like we had to talk over them.
This is a perfect place to fill up on food if you are hungry and looking for some great Italian!
