We stayed here while traveling from Niagara falls to NJ. The most important thing to me when choosing a hotel is that it is clean. I was not disappointed at all. This room felt so clean it was as if we were the first to ever stay in it. We had the king room with the jacuzzi. It was much larger than expected. The breakfast was good, pretty typical for what you find in most hotels. Service was friendly and efficient for the most part. The person at the front desk was cheerful when we checked it and went the extra step of asking us how we liked our room as she saw us leave for dinner a little later.
The fixtures in the sink and tub were higher end and very quiet, this is especially nice when filling a jacuzzi in the same room as the bed and tv.
The room had 6 bath towels. I really appreciate this since I have very long hair and hate when we are given only two towels.
The desk was huge! If you are traveling for business this would be a great spot for you.
Reason for 4 instead of 5 stars:
One staff member was complaining to another about the behavior of the guests in regards to the pancake machine. I have no idea if what he was saying was correct, I just know I shouldn't hear it as a guest myself. The housekeepers were not as friendly as most I have come in contact with. They positioned their cart in the middle of the hallway and made no attempt to move it as we passed, and only spoke when spoken to. In my healthcare job we are trained to smile and greet everyone that we come in contact with. I would think that would be very important in the hospitality industry.
I also wish they had chosen to install a longer timer on the jacuzzi. The timer is positioned across the room and has a max of 15 minutes. Unless you have someone with you who can turn it for you again you have to get out of the tub and walk across the room to turn the dial again. Most other jacuzzi rooms I have been in have a 30 or 45 minute timer.
There is no view whatsoever, just keep your curtains closed unless you want to see a junk car lot or a muffler shop.
I recommend spending a few extra dollars for the king jacuzzi room. After sitting in the car all day...
