“Recommended for families, girls weekends, guys weekends. Good, tasty food at a good price.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 10, 2012 via mobile

We had the tomato bisque which was loaded with cheese, and lots of flavor, followed by the southwestern steak salad, generous portion, not too much dressing. Delicious steak. Also the strawberry salad special with the candied pecans and blue cheese was fabulous. Dessert was amazing! We were full so we ordered the pumpkin ice cream cake with fresh caramel that was outrageously delicious!

“Our go-to spot”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 8, 2012

We've three times: once for dinner, once for drinks, and once for lunch - all after shopping at the outlets. The building it beautiful inside and out; rustic stone exterior and very warm and inviting inside. The food has always been very good, the drinks the same, and the wait-staff always friendly and attentive. This has become our go-to spot each time we visit Lancaster or nearby. Formal enough to plan an anniversary dinner outing, hip enough to spend a few hours at the bar, and informal enough to grab appetizers and watch a game on Sunday (at half-time you can switch it up and visit Lancaster Brewing Co. only 15 minutes away!). Enjoy!

“Disappointing Service and Food”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed November 6, 2012

This place is located in the Historic Strasburg Inn now a Clarion. Other reviews rated this place fairly high and we did not find another choice to our liking this visit to Lancaster County. We ordered mussels in garlic sauce as appy and it was not good. They smothered it with sliced onion and green peppers. The menu did not mention these at all - and it overpowered the mussels and garlic. Our entrees were a florentine chicken with sundried tomatioes over pasta and apricot glazed cajun salmon. The pasta sauce was tasteless. The salmon was cooked very nicely but they put way too much apricot glaze on it. Mashed red bliss were tateless. Green beans were good. The house cab was ok. 2 rolls were presented to us right before our entrees arrived. Nothing special about them except they were not warm. Mixed green salad was fine. Server was not knowledgeable about the menu and told us we should tell the manager about the mussel appy being terrible. Isn't that her job? The decor here is fine. It seems they are trying to be sports bar of sorts and then again want to be a fine dining restaurant as well. Too bad the food was not good and the service disappoining. Prices average.

“Warm and Inviting”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 2, 2012

Friendly and helpful service and really great food and servings. Warm atmosphere and we were impressed by how accommodating the waiter was when we asked for a particular drink or meal choice. Nice place for a special occasion dinner or celebration.
