Well, c'mon -- it's a HoJo, on a busy highway in a strip-mall area, where a room cost $89/night. If you're expecting the Ritz-Carlton, that's not a reasonable expectation...
We chose this place because Swarthmore College's admission office said it was the closest hotel. We stayed here for one night during a two-night stay, and it was pretty much what we expected.
It seemed mostly clean, although I'll admit I didn't want to look too hard. The wi-fi worked fine in our room, although the desk clerk told us when we checked in that the property's router was problematic and iffy.
Were the linens scratchy and coarse? Were the towels thin? Yes, for the most part that's all true -- but this hotel (sorry, motel) is what it is, and doesn't pretend to be anything else. Since we had no experience bad enough to complain to management, I can't speak to the indifference/helpfulness, but I'd have to say that all in all, it's pretty much what we expected for $89.
