Description: The Georgian Inn of Somerset is listed on the National Registor of Historic Places. Built as a private residence in 1915 by a prosperous coal and cattle baron, the mansion was designed for entertaining. The mansion has been restored to its original grandeur and opened in 2010 as The Georgian Inn of Somerset. We also offer afternoon tea, luncheon tours, fine and casual dining and tapas with wine pairings. Outdoor seating on the terrace is available, weather permitting. A tour of the property discloses the luxury accommodations in a number of rooms and suites. All rooms offer a private bath, cable television, WI-FI and a selected breakfast as part of each overnight stay. In addition, facilities are available for business meetings, weddings, bridal or baby showers, birthday parties, wedding anniversaries or any private party.

“You will want to go back . . .”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 14, 2011

We have been twice to the Inn at Georgian Place for Sunday brunch and found the food at this five star hotel and restaurant to be beyond the typical area restaurant fare as far as unique menu items, deliciously prepared and nicely presentedl their servers were friendly and knowledgeable. For us, the price was a bit above "our usual dining out pocketbook", but we found the INN to be a great place for when the occasion warrents somewhere special with atmosphere, charm, and a beautiful view of our local area.

“Lovely for tea”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 13, 2011

While this restaurant tends to be on the pricey side, it's well worth it for a special occasion. We went for afternoon tea, which is available by reservation only. We were served tea sandwiches, scones, and lemon cake in courses. There were different teas with each course. The view was wonderful and the service highly attentive.
