The hotel is conveniently located, and is clean, well maintained and comfortable. Perfect location.

Stayed here for a night while on a road trip to Pittsburgh. The hotel was located RIGHT off the highway exit. After going through the toll booth, be prepared to take a immediate turn into the hotel's access road/parking lot. We initially missed the turn and spent 10 confusing minutes trying to figure out where the hotel was and how to get there. This was my only complaint.

The hotel staff was very friendly and there were Andes mints and fresh fruit in the lobby. This is one of the newer renovated Hampton Inn's. The room was large and spacious as was the bathroom. The breakfast was your standard Hampton breakfast. I would highly recommend this hotel whether you're visiting Somerset or just passing through and need a place to stay for the night.

I read about the hotel on line before going there. The ad said they had the usual iron, ironing board, hair dryer, coffee pot, etc. So we were surprised and pleased to find a mini refrigerator which was not advertised. The room was nice enough. What I was NOT happy about was the bathroom. I want a tub. No where in the advertising does it say that all the King rooms have walk in showers and only the double bed rooms have bathtubs! My husband booked a King bed....and this is what we found upon our arrival. They were full occupancy so there was no possibility of changing rooms. Therefore we only stayed one night instead of the two that we had planned. I did like the breakfast and the free internet service.

Room Tip: If you want a bath tub....book a double bed room.

We stayed one night this past weekend (8/6) and were not disappointed. The hotel was very clean, which is always most important to me. We were greeted by Krystle and another young woman whose name escapes me at the moment. Both were genuinely friendly and welcoming. They gave us lots of meal suggestions, and a little bit of info about the area in general. Snacks were not disappointing and really hit the spot, considering we had been driving for 5 hours and arrived in the later part of the afternoon. Three different kinds of cookies, fresh warm popcorn, fresh fruit, Andes Mints in baskets everywhere (a personal favorite of mine), and hot coffee, tea, etc. at the beveridge station. The room was not spacious but a decent size, very good lighting in the bathroom. We took other TripAdvisor review advice and requested a room on the highway side of the hotel to avoid the tractor trailer noise. All was quiet and we were able to sleep in. Decent breakfast, more variety than expected. Morning staff equally as nice as the previous afternoon. We'll be in this area every summer and we plan to book with this same hotel each time.

Room Tip: Request a room on the highway side of the hotel - it is quieter

Last minute booking can sometimes have its rewards. After searching for a place to stay for a last-minute trip to Fallingwater, I stumbled upon Hampton Inn Somerset and they were the only hotel in the general vicinity that had availability. Usually that's a bad sign, but in this case, it worked out great. It's just off the Turnpike in a can't-miss location, so it's almost impossible to get lost on your way there. The staff was super friendly and helped us find our way to Fallingwater with pre-printed directions that took us door-to-door. (I would recommend using those directions over the Google Maps ones, which were very confusing to follow by comparison.)

The rooms were spacious and clean with amazing beds - usually the type that you'd associate with hotels three times the price. The breakfast was okay (but then again, it was free, so it's hard to complain) and there are nearby Starbucks and other chain restaurants/fast food places typical off the Turnpike. The drive from the hotel to Fallingwater was about 35-40 minutes, and it was very scenic and a nice introduction to the area. I would definitely recommend to other travelers to the area - whether there for business or leisure.

After a bad experience at another Hampton, I was a bit "Hampton shy". I appreciate the clean quilt cover, extremely fresh sheets, and comfortable beds of the Hamptons and this one is no different. Perhaps the tourist location of my previous stay was a reason to expect less. But not this place - standard Hampton. Pleasant people, late arrival was handled easily, and easy on/off from the highway. Truck sound scared us walking in but once inside, we didn't hear it or it just wasn't bad enough to warrant attention.

I travel frequently to Somerset for business and ALWAYS stay at the Hampton Inn.

While Somerset is not the most exciting town, my time at the Hampton is always a pleasure.

Like others have said, the 24 hour snacks are great, as is the breakfast. I also always know that I will sleep well as the beds are incredibly comfortable.

The only thing I'm not crazy about is the fitness center, but what can you do?

Room Tip: In the winter the trucks idle on one side of the hotel, so request a room on the side closer to the...
