“Stick with the dog and burgers.”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed July 9, 2013

Interesting venue with nice outdoor tables overlooking the golf course. We have found the service to be average and the food overpriced and just average. It is off our go to list.

“Visit on July 7,2013”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 8, 2013

We have dined here several times and have always found it to be a good value. on this visit, we both had the roasted beet salad which was excellent. Both entrees , salmon and grouper were very good.

“Unexpected weather turned into a delightful dinner date!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 1, 2013

After days of HHH (hazy, hot and humid) weather in the Philadelphia, the humidity broke for about 24 hours. So, when we arrived at The Farm House, we were offered indoor or outdoor seating. The hostess told us that she had reserved a table in the Dining Room as well as on The Patio for us so that we could choose. Now, that was the beginning of a wonderful dining and service experience. Everything was terrific, especially being outside on a such a rare cool and comfortable Summer evening! We are looking forward to going back, soon!

“Farm House a real treat”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 5, 2013

We love to go to the Farm House Restaurant at the Skippack Golf Course. It is small and quaint and the food is outstanding. We love to sit outside to watch the golfers and enjoy our meal.

“Average Everything”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 10, 2013

The restaurant was empty, save for one other table, when we arrived. The greeting from the host, servers, and bartender (who were all standing together and talking) was lukewarm and lackluster. We were seated next to the one other table.
My date and I had the scallops, which were very good, for an appetizer. I had the ahi tuna entree. Other than the wasabi mashed potatoes, which were OUTSTANDING, my entree was mediocre. My date had the strip steak (a daily special). The steak was fatty and flavorless. We shared the carrot cake and vanilla ice cream for dessert, both of which were delicious. The house bottle of wine that we purchased was very reasonably priced ($25).
Our server did a perfectly acceptable job.
If a friend asked me to go The Farm House again, I wouldn't be opposed, but I won't go out of my way to return.
