My wife and I use to spend our summers in Hemlock Farms, Pa and often go to our favoirite restaurant, Garden of Eden. One of our favorite dishes was garlic soup, which we greatly missed once the restaurant changed hands.
As luck would have it, we were visting friends for the day and they said that there is a restaurant called Peter's which is run by the same chef who owned Garden of Eden. Of course we went and have excellent meals, including the garlic soup. I had the Liguine alla Fruitti di Mare (wow), and the ladies had wild salmon, and my buddy the pork chops. Later we all had coffee, and my wife wanted to share a single cup because earlier in the day we had some. The waitress instead brought two 1/2 cups.
The dish sizes and prices were very good making for a good value.
The only reason I did not give Peter's 5 Stars is because this is the first visit. If Peter continues the way he did at the Garden of Eden, there is no doubt he will deserve an Excellent.
