Driving home from NYC, we stopped at the inn for a few days and were very pleasantly surprised by the River Room. We ate outside on the veranda the first night and in the restaurant on the second. Both nights the food was amazing and the service was great! I found the portions too big to finish, but they were so delicious! The vegetables are grown in their own garden and the meat is hormone free! The servers are so friendly and willing to accommodate guests. The breakfast buffet is substantial, but typically American (think sausage, biscuits and gravy), but there is a large fruit selection (maybe not really ripe, but at least it is offered!). I found the menu very reasonably priced. Thank you Catherine and Owen for the great time!
