Just completed the 2-day trip with another motorcycling couple. A lot of stores for shopping, some near-by sights or points of interest, and much country and good roads for scenic cruising. The coal mine tour at Pioneer Tunnel, Ashland, PA, and the ghost town of Centralia where a burning coal mine under the town resulted in its evacuation are places to consider visiting. The Phillips Motel on Route 15 in Shomokin Dam, is very clean with nicely appointed rooms; reasonable rates. This place is near Selingrove, between Williamsport and Harrisburg. Happy motoring!
