“Enjoyed the inexpensive room!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 8, 2013

Couldn't find any reviews on Tripadvisor for some reason before we stayed at the Four Seasons. It's funny, several days ago I submitted a review for the restaurant next door and titled it "Quentin Haus is what it is!" Today it showed that several people who had reviewed QH had also reviewed the FS Motel so THAT'S how I found this. I saw the last reviewer here had entitled his "It Is What It Is." Just wanted to say I didn't see his review and wasn't copying it--just in case anyone notices! haha
Anyway, that sums up the experience of both of these places. We didn't want to stay overnight in a higher priced room in the area. Looking on-line I found 2 places that fit the bill. Turns out, other relatives were staying here so we did too and all of us liked it. We just wanted a CLEAN, inexpensive place to sleep and take a shower. It didn't have to be modern. It you need/ want that, then you should probably spend 2-3 times more and go with one of the chain motels and get the usually mediocre continental breakfast that comes with it. Since our bed was VERY comfortable and so were the pillows, it had no unpleasant smells AND is right next to a good restaurant, we were happy! Will definitely return in the future and that's why I'm recommending it to others too!

3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 1, 2011

Wife and I just wanted to get away to the weekend, 2 days 1 night, and didn't want to spend over $100 for a room in the Lancaster area. We had stayed at the Four Seasons once before, so we booked it again for $60. This is what you would expect from a small motel. It was not dirty or smelly, but it was definetly dated. Pillows were FLAT and the shower head needed to be replaced. There were cracks in the bathroom tile and the caulking around the shower needed redone. Bottom line, if you can overlook some imperfections and want a cheap room, book it.

We stayed at this motel while visting Hershey and Lancaster. It is a quaint, very clean and friendly motel. We chose to stay here because it had one of the best rates in the area while being conveniently located to a few places we were planning to go. Highly recommended if you're looking for something affordable in the Central PA area.
