“Pet friendly and Ant friendly”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed August 15, 2012

While it is wonderful that our cute, furry companion was able to stay with us during our stop in Quakertown, PA, the presence of ants ruined all of those happy thoughts. There must be a hive/nest/family home somewhere in the wall or bed side table. My family couldn't help but feel disgusted and uncomfortable. You can't really feel clean while you toss and turn and notice little ants trying to crawl onto your bed. During our three day stay, we had to have one of the maintenance men come twice to stop it. The employees didn't even act surprised when we told them about the ants, and they most certainly didn't apologize. Considering the amount present after the first night, they have a problem and are not spending the money to solve it. When we walked in the other room, we noticed a welcoming layer of pet fur all over the carpet. We mentioned both the ant and fur problem to the workers at the front desk. They defended this lack of cleanliness by mentioning that last week they had a "dog thing" going on. Again, while it is great that they allow pets at this hotel, no one really wants to walk on a layer of dog fur, especially if it isn't your dog's. Although it was a cheap option, the lack of cleanliness only reinforces the idea of spending a little more and avoiding this chain of hotels entirely.

Weary...tired...achy...hungry. Arrived to be greeted by a dearly kind, hospitable and caring receptionist. Our room was fabulous. The jacuzzi was the best I have ever seen in a hotel. Thank-you Comfort Inn for living up to you name. We were indeed comfortable.

Lovely quiet hotel, courteous staff, and beautiful grounds for the pooches! First time here and it was a dream. At check-in, we were upgraded to a suite on the 2nd Fl - seems there were no 1st fl rooms left that were just 2 queens - who's complaining?? Large divided space was divided into living room with sleeper sofa and flat screen TV, and on the other side of a half-wall were the very comfy beds and another flatscreen TV. In the "kitchenette" off the living room was the mw and fridge and a mini sink. Countertops were granite - AND, there was a jacuzzi in the bath! The breakfast was very good, but little eating area could have used a few more tables even at 6:15am. All rooms opened to the outside. Very nice - we will be back!

Room Tip: rear building is quietest

We went to Quakertown for a family wedding and stayed here. We upgraded to the Jacuzzi Room. Hugh room with a great Jacuzzi! The only problems we had were that the room safe would not open and the office did not have the pass code.

Also, there were ants in the room. When we reported this, they brought down ant traps. I think they should have moved us.

Go for the in-room jacuzzi !! Our room was super-sized with micro & fridge and separate TV/desk area. Breakfast was plentiful and varied.

Let me just start by saying that I work at another Comfort Inn & Suites so my opinions may be a little bias.
My family stayed here this past weekend for a nearby wedding in Pennsberg. Even with 6 rooms, all with very picky family members, the whole experience was great!
Location- You honestly cannot beat it! It is right off of the turnpike and is very close to nearby shopping centers.
Front Desk- Extremely pleasant and helpful. My aunt had booked a king suite with a hot tub and once we got back from the wedding, her toilet wasn't flushing right. Not only did the hotel fix the problem for her, they also gave her a discount off of her bill! Can't beat that :) Deb, who works in the afternoon, was patient while we were all trying to check in. The night auditor was equally as helpful, supplying us with all of the toiletries that we had forgotten.
Breakfast- Nice set up. Supply ran low a couple of times but the place was very busy! Very impressed with the breakfast attendant.

Side notes- King size beds are very comfy! The flat screen tv's are quite nice. While other guests complained about the outdoor entrances, I actually preferred them. It was nice to be able to back up to our door in order to remove our luggage.

Places they can improve- Not only are the outdoor steps to the second floor an eye sore, they also seem quite dangerous. I think that this is definitely something that the management of the hotel should work on and fix. Secondly, the decor in the rooms is pretty boring and outdated- not a huge deal but maybe something that can be updated in the future. The fitness room is nice, but more equipment (i.e. elliptical) would be great!

The only part of the whole experience that I really had a problem with were the housekeepers. They seemed very shady and made me want to hide all of my valuables out of sight. I know that good help is hard to come by, but the way that the housekeepers portray themselves to guests is definitely enough to deter some guests from staying there.

All in all, we enjoyed our stay here and are very likely to return!

Room Tip: First floor is really the way to go! King size beds are better than the queens anyways :)

We had to make rapid destination plans. After banging my head against the table with two other options we called Comfort Inn at Quakertown Pa. I contacted the front desk and explained my immediate situation. From making the reservations to our check in we were treated with respect and dignity. Hightest praise! Can you give 6 stars?
