This was one of the first enclosed malls in the country. And it's age began to show many years ago. In the last few year, however, there has been quite a bit of improvement. The new Whole Foods is outstanding, and there are several nice new clothing stores. To be a first class mall, though, there needs to be a real great anchor store. The Macy's is not impressive, like the ones in Willow Grove and King of Prussia. The location of this mall (PA turnpike, Blue Route, Germantown Pike) could bring in visitors to support a destination shopping center. Meanwhile, there already is good dining, grocery, movie, and even a church.
